ORDER ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

  1. All orders and adjustments must be acknowledged in writing.

  2. Factory will not be responsible for errors on oral or hand written orders.

  3. Paper proof:  All orders will be acknowledges by a faxed paper proof.  The first 2 paper proofs are free of charge.  Add a $10.00 (V) fee for each additional revision.

  4. Cancellation:  Any cancellation of an order in production will be subjected to costs incurred to date of cancellation and a $25.00 (V) cancellation charge will be applied.

  5. All orders are subject to credit approval.  We reserve the right to require a deposit or pre-payment.

 

LEAD-TIME

5 to 7 working days on imprinted orders with sufficient inventory.  Non-imprinted orders will be shipped within 24 hours with sufficient inventory.

 

TERMS

  1. Standard terms are net 30 days from the shipping date on approved credit only.

  2. Published prices and terms in our catalog and on our web site are subject to changes without notice.

 

ARTWORK

  1. Electronic artwork can be e-mailed to:  penstationinc@aol.com

  2. Electronic artwork needs to be Adobe Illustrator, Corel Draw, or EPS file types in PC compatible format.*

  3. Camera-ready art has to be FLAT, SHARP, and BLACK AND WHITE line art on glossy paper.

  4. For multi-color imprint, color separated art must be furnished.

  5. If suitable art is not supplied, an art charge of $35.00 (V) per hour will be charged accordingly.

 

*NOTE:  We cannot open electronic artwork sent in any program other than the ones listed above.  Sending artwork in unsupported programs will slow down the order process.

 

IMPRINT COSTS

Most published prices in our catalog and on our web site include a one color, one location silkscreen printing or laser engraving running charge.  (Except for gift boxes)

 

Laser Engraving

     Setup:  $40.00 (V) for one location

     Re-setup:  $25.00 (V) for one location

     Additional running charge:  $0.30 (V) for each location

 

Silkscreen Imprint

     Setup:  $40.00 (V) for one color/location

     Re-setup:  $25.00 (V) for one color/location

     Additional running charge:  $0.20 (V) for each color/location

 

Personalization:  $1.20 (V) for each name plus a $25.00 (V) setup charge.  Please provide name list in PC TEXT format.

 

Oxidation:  $0.20 (V) for each location on each piece.  (Only available in black color)

 

GENERAL CHARGES

  1. Pre-production proofs:  $38.00 (V) per color/location plus the cost of the product and shipping charge.

  2. Less than minimum:  $25.00 (V) will apply to orders with quantities of less than minimum.

  3. Random samples:  End quantity pricing plus shipping charge.  Return samples in 10 days for credit, except freight.

  4. Split/drop shipment:  Split or drop shipments to more than one destination or at different time periods will be charged $5.00 (V) per location/shipment.

  5. Sales tax will apply to orders shipping to addresses within the state of California unless a CA reseller’s permit is provided.

 

SHIPPING

  1. All merchandise are shipped F.O.B. Baldwin Park, CA.  Freight insurance will be charged on each shipment.

  2. International shipment:  Need to provide a commercial invoice with order.  All duties, taxes, and entry fees are customer’s responsibility.

  3. We can only guarantee the date when the merchandise will leave our warehouse and cannot be responsible for carrier or en-route delays.

  4. All orders are shipped via Federal Express or UPS unless otherwise requested.  Orders that do not indicate shipping instructions will be shipped in the most economical method to meet the in-hands date as per your order.

  5. Please help by supplying a street address.  Federal Express and UPS will not deliver to a PO Box.

  6. Shipping and handling charges are additional.

  7. 5% over- or under-runs will be considered a complete order.  We will always strive to ship exact quantities whenever possible.

 

INK CARTRIDGES

  1. Standard color is black.  If blue ink is requested, there will be an extra charge of $0.20 (V) per piece for ballpoint pens and $0.45 (V) per piece for rollerball pens.

  2. Individual sales of black or blue ink refill are .

 

PACKAGING

All items are individually poly-bagged, unless otherwise specified.  Gift boxes are available for an extra cost.

 

RUSH ORDER

Call for confirmation of capability.  Rush charges may apply.

 

IMPORTANT NOTE

  1. As wooden products are handcrafted products, the consistency of wood grain, stain or color may vary.

  2. Please be aware that silkscreen imprinted logos will wear-off eventually, depending on usage.

  3. Logos and trademarks displayed in our catalog and on our web site are for illustrative purpose only.  These are not an indication of any endorsement of who hold claim to a logo or trademark.

 

RETURNS

  1. Merchandise cannot be returned unless you obtain a return authorization number.  No returns will be authorized after 30 days from invoice date.

  2. Any damaged or shortage of goods must be notified within 7 days from receipt of shipment.

  3. We reserve the right to repair/replace only the quantity of merchandise returned to us.

 

PAST DUE INVOICES

Past due invoices are subject to late fees & collection fees hat may incur from collection of payment!

 

RETURNED CHECK

A $20.00 fee will be charged for any returned check.

 

WARRANTY

All items carry a limited three-month warranty from date of shipment.  The warranty covers any defects in material or workmanship.  Batteries excluded.
